Friday July 10th:  15 bands, 1 night, 1 winner, total chaos

The winner goes to Los Angeles, then possibly Germany, a record deal, and a MUCH better tour bus than our current minivan.  You can appreciate the level of anticipation and importance here.  You can, once again, help make it happen.  We are writing new songs just for you.  We would love to see you.  We appreciate your support.  We only have 100 tickets so get them now before they are gone.

Two important changes from prior Emergenza shows:

1) Venue change:  The Mighty is the name of the club.  See below for details.

2) Tickets - No ticket sales at the door. What? You MUST buy them from a band member.  Emergenza rules, not ours.  Also they set the price.  Sorry.  And there are only 100 tickets in our allotment, so get them ASAP!

When: 7:00pm show. Bender goes on at 8:30 or thereabouts, and voting is right after we play, so get there early! We’ll be done by 10:30pm at the latest - but stay and watch the other cool bands and see who wins!
Cover:  $18.  No Door Sales. Get tickets from the band BEFORE THE 10th.  You can’t just show up.  You know who you are…

Bender is happy to report that due to the mobbing of the Rockit Room by rabid Bender Fans we won our night of Round 2 in the Emergenza Music Festival in San Francisco. Many thanks to everyone that made the night such a success - you know who you are!  Now on to the San Francisco FINALS!!!

We are exceptionally grateful to all of you who came out and supported us at the Rockit Room on Friday February 6th for Emergenza Round 1 -  the world-wide contest for unsigned bands to find fame and glory, or just have some fun.  Thanks to you we won the round and are now gearing up for Round 2 with new tunes!

Fort Mason Fleet Week Festival was fun  - we missed Brad at a wedding in Mexico but Kevin Marlatt was kind enough to sit in on drums.  Our guests bassists for the summer were Doug Puchalski and Jay Russell.

The 15th Ave. block party was a blast for one and all - probably the last great day of the summer in San Francisco.  Blue sky, warm weather, BBQ, a keg, and Bender music.   It doesn’t get much better.

Later that night….a little low energy while we waited to go on back stage at the Red Devil Lounge. But then we kicked into high gear for set of high energy R&R.  Too bad the famous pole in the middle of the stage blocked some views….

Hello friends, please join Bender this Saturday in support of a good cause - a benefit for Team in Training (the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) at the Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco.  We are joined by 2 other bands, General Jones and the Sacred Profanities. This show provides something for everyone - a great combination of classic, roots, country, and alternative rock originals and covers. (Guess which one we are…)  This should be a fun time - we hope to see you there.  Here are the details:
